Rec'd a copy of the Will (recorded May 29, 1849) and Final Account of William Lee from Jackie San Pedro. Life estate is all property left to wife Jane;  Joseph, William & John rec'd the house and lot fronting on Beaver Street, house and lot fronting on Veto Street, City of Allegheny, and farm in Indiana Twp as tenants in common.  Daughters Margaret, Jane, Fanny, Mary, and Nancy, $125; son Thomas, $1; children and widow Hannah of deceased son Ralph, one dollar.  See attached copy for details.  Executors were sons Joseph, William, and John Lee.   

In his published genealogy, The Genealogical Record of William Lee and Descendents, 1921, Ralph Anderson Lee, Valencia, PA., states that William Lee was a brother of General Henry "Light Horse Harry" Lee, the Revolutionary War hero; and that "..William and his brothers were not Friendly on account of slavery in the South".

Boyd K. SEAVEY [Parents] was born 8 Jan 1912. He died 22 Aug 1974 in San Diego Co., CA. Boyd married Living on 13 Jun 1937 in Pueblo, Colorado.

Boyd was a first-class machinist on the U.S. gunboat Bennington, which was damaged by the explosion of its boilers in San Diego harbor.  The explosion killed 66 men and wounded nearly as many.  He was severely injured, but recovered.

He passed away from leukemia on August 22, 1974, in San Diego, CA.  He was cremated and his ashes were scattered over the Pacific.
