Margaret HUGHES [scrapbook] was born 1775 ? in England ?. She died 1840/1850 in Pennsylvania. Margaret married Unknown HUGHES.

Unable to verify from any other source that this is indeed the proper William Hughes and his mother, however, William's age is correct and the subsequent location of a Margaret Hughes living in proximity to our William in 1840, seems to circumstantially strengthen the link.
